About The Book

Book synopsis

I wanted to condense a shitload of text to be expanded by the user if they feel like it, and this needed to adapt to a page section that has a scroll-triggered background color change. The primary thing with the pure-CSS expand functionality is hiding an input checkbox, using that as a means of toggling between two states, and applying styles accordingly.I didn't want to truncate with ellipses, and preferred a fade to transparent, hence using a gradient above the text in a container with a reduced max-height. So this required transitioning the gradient colors which isn't really possible. While we can achieve gradient movement with keyframes and background-position, it's not at all ideal for this use case (and def not possible with this much ease).I wanted to condense a shitload of text to be expanded by the user if they feel like it, and this needed to adapt to a page section that has a scroll-triggered background color change. The primary thing with the pure-CSS expand functionality is hiding an input checkbox, using that as a means of toggling between two states, and applying styles accordingly.

Throughout this musical soundtrack, the feeling of the stories merge into harmonious beauty. As someone who listens to instrumental music almost exclusively, I can recommend to you this music. The progression, from a musical perspective, is outstanding. It is an incredible piece of art!
