Hoping to get some sleep!

I haven't been able to put this book down, so now that I've finished it, I'm hoping to make up for my total lack of sleep! In my opinion, Michael Wisehart is one of the best writers I've seen in a very long time! Now I need to reread the second series ( i made the mistake of reading them first) because I didn't noticed his remarks about reading these first! But I am looking forward to reading them all again!
Thank you Michael! Please keep writing, otherwise I won't know what to do when I finish them!

Series ends, and characters have become my family

I started with the Aldoran Chronicles and found each book a true delight, Brilliant writing, great plot development and one of the very best reader/narrator I have ever heard. I listened non-stop to all the books in that series, and was grasping about for more when I discovered the Street Rat books. Again, I listened through the whole series which was definitely written for a younger audience. I appreciate Wisehart's thoughtful approach to crafting a rich, exciting entry-level approach to Aldor. I highly recommend this series ending in Avalanche, with younger characters and less violent death and no world-shattering evil, the storylines inspire the reader to celebrate virtue and understanding all while dispensing justice. I will miss these characters!

The summation of a fantastical series

I enjoyed reading Avalanche by Michael Wisehart. The author finished his series with a flourish. All loose ends were explained or integrated into the story. I did feel that the book might have spent less time revisiting past events but I understand why the author felt it was necessary. Overall, an enjoyable romp through Aramoor.
